Sometimes telling someone what to do isn’t enough.

Mentoring can be incredibly valuable. Advice can be valuable. Strategy can be valuable.

But there’s a problem:

If someone has a subconscious belief keeping them stuck, simply giving them the answer may completely miss what’s actually happening.

Because the issue might not be that they don’t know what to do.

They may already know.

The deeper question is:

What’s preventing them from doing it?

Maybe there’s a belief underneath the behavior.

A story they’ve carried for years.

A fear they haven’t recognized.

An experience that taught them something about themselves that they still believe today.

That’s why meaningful change sometimes has to happen before the strategy.

Understand the story.
Identify the belief.
Work through the block.

Then get to the “what do I do?”

Because when you address what’s actually keeping someone stuck, you’re not just giving them instructions.

You’re helping them become capable of moving forward. 💯
